Shaken and stirred…

The Whippets recently enjoyed a pretty splendid Christmas party having our very own private cocktail masterclass. In the hands of two expert mixologists, we learned how to muddle, mix and generally cause merry mayhem with every ingredient we could lay our paws on behind the bar. Many, many, many espresso martinis later, we left rather bleary eyed, but at least we now know that shaking a cocktail maker is a brilliant way to exercise those guns/bingo wings*. *delete as appropriate

Get chatting across the pond

Here at Whippet Towers, we’ve been hard at work on Tesco International Calling’s first ever above-the-line campaign. Our ads have been popping up on trains, in store, online and in bus shelters all over the country to let people know they can call the USA for free when they download the new app and top up. Now that’s a gift worth talking about this Christmas.

Wickes gets extra with Order & Collect

We’re very excited to see our most recent project for Wickes go live! Trialling in the Bedford store, Order & Collect gives customers an extended range to choose from using a catalogue, ticket system and dedicated collection point. We worked on the name, the customer journey and all the design, with touchpoints including front of store navigation, counter signage, on-shelf POS and catalogue. Super-clear communication means customers are able to use the system pretty intuitively, and Wickes get the benefit of being able stock a much fuller range. Watch this space as the new concept will be coming soon to a Wickes near you…

We’re honing our craft for Birch

Whippet_Birch_1

We don’t think anyone should have to make do and mend without beautifully packaged pins, needles and buttons – and of course by our very nature we love getting creative – so we’re doubly happy to be working on the rebrand of the Australian haberdasher Birch. We’ve looked at their brand descriptor, their logo, packaging and in-store display, making sure it’s easy to shop and easy to merchandise. We hope Australia’s knitters and stitchers agree we’ve crafted some beautiful designs that really bring this heritage brand to life.

We get connected at Tesco

Following the success of Lincoln and York, we’re excited to see our new point of sale scheme roll out to the next Connected Technology department at Tesco, this time in Shoreham. Fully interactive, it’s a digital playground where customers can try out all the latest tech – from smartphones to tablets to gaming – and see how it connects to their lives. Even the kids haven’t been forgotten – they get their own little area to play child-friendly apps on tablets!
