
Creating joy at Easter: brand activation
After our pitch-winning Christmas brand activation work, Mondelez asked us to work on Cadbury’s Easter campaign, translating the TV creative into store.
From store entrance to shelf, we found every which way to ‘share the joy’ of Cadbury for Easter. Inflatables, competitions, giveaways, shelf wobblers, a clucking, egg-laying chicken and even a bunny on a motorised bike… we created an enormous suite of ideas that included digital and physical to encourage sales and engagement.
Big ideas for a big event
On the back of this, Cadbury asked us to develop even more ideas exclusively for Coles supermarkets, allowing them to maximise footfall for both retailer and supplier. Experiential became the name of the game with photo booths, a solid gold egg hunt, a carnival and the big Joyville bike ride among our ideas.
A sweet result
The two campaigns more than exceeded expectations for Cadbury’s and Coles alike. And for the customer, there was absolutely no doubt who owned Easter that year; purple definitely reigned.
