Magic, Snow and a Hint of Disco – inside M&S's Christmas 2024 campaign
The Challenge: M&S, an institution in the UK grocery and retail sector, challenged us in November 2023 to develop a Christmas creative scheme that would enable it to stand out against competitors. The idea was to retain the magic of Christmas while giving it a modern edge, all while cementing M&S as the destination for customers' festive shopping needs.​

The solution: Bring the magic of Christmas to life
A World of Inspiration: We explored global stores and curated mood boards to spark a unique creative direction for the campaign.
A Cohesive Vision: Our ‘magical snowing disco Christmas’ theme united all of the M&S teams, and worked across Food, Clothing, Home and Gifting to create one consistent visual approach.
Real-Life Magic: We shot with external teams to capture the magic and sparkle that customers loved, using real sets and propping to create a strong foundation for our campaign visuals.
Bring the Fun: Our ‘Disco Snowman’ approach and oversized window propping brought a fresh, modern and new version of festive cheer that customers would love.
Memorable Festivities: We blended traditional festive cheer with modern twists to captivate shoppers in-store and online.
