Launching two new credit cards with a bang

When M&S Bank asked us to launch its new credit cards, both bursting with exclusive rewards, our first task was to design the cards. We created contemporary, covetable designs with a premium finish – then we moved on to creating an equally impactful launch campaign.

As the most exciting M&S Bank products to date, the new products warranted the iconic ‘This is not just…’ headline, coupled with a bold explosion of colour to bring the proposition ‘bursting with rewards’ to life. We rendered 3D type and shot M&S products to include in the centre of the bursts, as a representation of all the exclusive M&S rewards on offer.

The paid-for product Club Rewards called for its own look and feel. We developed a premium, monochromatic palette with pops of minty green and a headline that suggests exclusivity without excluding people – together they persuade customers that this is a club they want to join.

In M&S Bank’s biggest ever campaign, we rolled out the creative across the entire customer journey, including in-store POS, social, digital, eCRM, internal PR and colleague comms.
